Wiltshire Human Givens provides one day workshops for both organisations and groups of individuals in a variety of subjects. The common theme is the application of human givens principles to understanding human behaviour. This can be relevant to a wide range of subjects such as improving communication, dealing with conflict, dealing with stress, motivating teams, improving management skills, improving learning.
We offer a very flexible approach and can tailor workshops and styles of presentation to meet your specific needs. We can work with groups in sizes from 1 to 50 people. Workshops involve a combination of presentation techniques and practical exercises. Questions and discussion are encouraged and many practical examples are used. Attendees are actively encouraged to relate the material to their own personal experience. We aim to generate a stimulating learning environment and encourage each member to get involved and enjoy the workshop.
A knowledge of human givens gives useful insights into the learning process. We use this knowledge to create a vibrant and stimulating learning experience. People leave the workshops with new knowledge which they find they can apply equally well to their work and their home situations.
A typical full workshop day runs from 9:30 am to 16:00 pm with a lunch break from 12:30 pm to 13:30 pm and tea / coffee breaks during the morning and afternoon sessions. Timings are flexible and can be adjusted to suit the customer's requirements. Feedback is collected after each session allowing the customer an opportunity to rate the success of the event. Course handout notes can also be provided.
We also provide support for students of the human givens approach.
Please note: we use the human givens approach in our workshops - apart from the “Building Confidence as a Therapist” workshop, we do not provide training in the field of human givens psychotherapy. This is provided in the UK by the Human Givens College and Nottingham Trent University.
