Have you ever wondered why it can be so terrifying to speak in public? There are plenty of confident, capable people who turn to jelly just at the thought of giving any kind of public presentation.
If your knees become weak at the thought of public speaking, we can help you.
We can explain what is going on in your brain to create this excessive (and yet surprisingly common) fear. We can also help you to overcome it with some simple and yet extremely effective techniques.
We combine explanations about how the brain really works with relaxation, guided imagery and imaginal exposure (helping you to rehearse handling a future situation successfully in your imagination) to help you overcome any anxiety. We work closely with your ambitions and goals and help you to identify small steps which can be taken towards your goal. This way, you get continual reassurance that you are making steady progress.
We want you to feel in control of the process and do not expect you to book a whole series of sessions in advance. Some people find two or three sessions really useful and do not require more. Others may need half a dozen sessions. It all depends on you and your specific circumstances. Our aim is to provide the help you need when you need it. We are confident that you will find our help really effective and will find benefit right from the very first session.
